Offering international-standard advertising, media and marketing communications services from our base in Malta, we enjoy doing what we’re best at: working closely with our clients to achieve their communications objectives creatively, however complex the challenge.

Sharon Debono
Media Executive

With more than 15 years of experience, Sharon has amassed a thorough knowledge of the evolving Maltese media sector, and the opportunities it offers clients. She coordinates media buying and checking of campaigns. A happy and very sociable presence in the office, especially when the sun is shining.

Andrew Camp
creative director

Andrew has broad international experience with leading agencies and brands in the UK and elsewhere. He is able to translate strategic thinking into memorable creative solutions that resonate with their audience. He is a lifelong Liverpool fan, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

Charles J Farrugia
Chairman

With many years experience on the boards of several, high profile, publicly listed companies in several sectors, Charles is a very well respected financial expert and business strategist with a clear sense of vision and leadership. A champion of change and innovation in business organisations, he is also very keen on long haul travel and is a firm believer in a healthy work life balance.

Sarmad Qazi
manager – public relations

With a background in journalism, Sarmad specialises in strategic communications and has senior level experience across a range of accounts. He has worked in United States, Pakistan, and Qatar and is conversant in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, and Farsi. Holds an MA in English and a post-graduate qualification in Political Marketing. Admires the tenacity of individual sports, but makes an exception for cricket.

Ivan Naudi
senior manager

With over 20 years experience at BPC, which he joined shortly after graduating in business management at the University of Malta, Ivan has extensive experience planning and supervising campaigns for Maltese and international clients across various categories. Ivan, who is a bit of a perfectionist, and a strong team player, also specialises in media strategy. Happily admits to loving pasta and adoring his favourite team, a certain Italian club, sometimes referred to as La Vecchia Signora.

David Sciberras

Dave has a BA in Art and has been working with design agencies and studios for more than a decade. Not to be disturbed unless you have fresh coffee or great ideas.

Chris Dalli

From logos to posters to brochures to annual reports to 360 degree campaigns… Chris enjoys the creative challenge, pushing himself to produce the best work possible and motivating colleagues. Entrusted with several major projects, Chris also keeps an eye on the technical aspects of creative jobs.

Adam Brockdorff
senior executive

Since joining the agency in 2008, Adam, who holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK), has gained experience in various roles and functions, moving to a client servicing role in 2010. He works on a number of major high-profile brands; very much in tune with latest trends, industry developments, and anything digital. Loves good food, high-performance motor cars, and the fast lane generally.

Claire Azzopardi

Claire graduated from the MCAST Institute of Art and Design in 2010 and joined BPC International in the same year. She’s loving the experience of being part of an incredible design team.

Keith Dimech

Has been at BPC since in 1997 so it’s truly his second home. Always quoting Steve Jobs, especially the one about the only way to do great work is doing what you love. How true.

Mariette Wilson

An experienced graphic artist who adds a feminine touch to the creative team. When faced with a challenging creative brief Mariette’s moto is ‘’keep calm, keep out... let the creativity flow.’’ Outside the studio, Mariette is also a full-time mummy from Mellieha who sneaks in creating hand-made jewellery when time permits.

Paul Caruana

Paul’s motto is "Every road that’s travelled teaches something new”, and so it does... A member of the BPC family for many years, Paul is also a well known artist and water-colourist in his own right, with several solo exhibitions to his credit.

Rosette Magri
executive

Blessed with a good supply of youthful enthusiasm, Rosette can nevertheless count herself amongst the agency’s veterans. In her previous roles she gained many years experience in media/administration and is also very well versed with organising audiovisual productions. Meticulous, thorough and dependable, she now forms an integral part of our client servicing team.

Michela Mifsud

Michela is the newest addition to the BPC design team having gained her MA in Graphic Design Communications from the Chelsea College of Arts in 2015. Michela is really enjoying her work and the creative team environment, looks forward to learning more.

David Brockdorff
managing director

Combining common sense with creative thinking (in almost equal measure), David is an experienced communications strategist, having devised numerous campaigns for clients in Malta and other markets. Holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from Lancaster University and previously worked as advertising manager with an international confectionery company in Belgium. Loves classical music and practically anything art related.

Anna Maria Attard Portughes
manager – public relations

Sixteen years’ experience in implementing public relations campaigns and event organisation for Malta-based and international companies, including artistic and music festivals. Studied ballet and cultural management. Was founder member of the Dance Council Malta. Loves beauty, opera, theatre and travelling.

Conway Wigg
senior manager

Has worked in communications for sixteen years in Malta and London, in Public Relations and latterly in social media and digital campaigns and activations. Conway holds a Masters Degree in Public Relations and Political Communication from the University of Westminster. Lifelong West Ham United fan.

Kevin Galea
senior manager

Kevin is a highly experienced and knowledgeable manager, combining a strategic communications approach with a thorough knowledge of advertising, printing and production techniques. With strong pragmatic problem-solving skills, he also coordinates the organisation of large events. Kevin is responsible for some of the agency’s major clients and new business projects. Loves rock music and travelling, often combining the two.

Ramon Naudi
manager

Ramon, who has a BA Hons (Melit) degree, joined the agency in 1995, gaining valuable experience in handling various campaigns and promotional events for BPC’s major private and public-sector clients, on both traditional and new media. An avid traveller, he’s a keen football enthusiast, both actually on the field and, also, on the couch...

Michael Cassar

Initially hailing from the hospitality industry, with experience of major establishments, including Scotland’s renowned Gleneagles Hotel, Michael is accustomed to the ethos of surpassing clients’ expectations and has now discovered the exciting world of public relations. He holds a BA (Hons) in Hospitality. His dream is to watch Palermo FC winning Italy’s Serie A.

Noellie Brockdorff
non executive director

Professor Brockdorff, a cognitive scientist and consumer behaviour consultant, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, and is Dean of the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences at the University of Malta. She is involved in a number of EU-wide research projects. She’s keen on good books, fine dining, cricket and football.

Carmel Bonello
director – public relations unit

A public relations consultant with more than 30 years experience, Carmel holds a Masters from the University of Stirling, Scotland. Founder member of the Institute of Maltese Journalists (1989), he served on its Council and organised 16 editions of the Malta Journalism Awards. Interests include mediaeval history, NGO management, political science, and short video productions which have won him awards in London, Malta, New York and Tokyo.

Alex Azzopardi
financial controller

With over 30 years of experience in management, administration and financial reporting, Alex also holds a Masters Degree in Management. He coordinates and supports various activities within the agency. Very keen on sports, good food and travel.

Neil Attard
executive

With a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology, and experience in several sales and marketing roles, Neil handles a variety of Maltese and international Client accounts across various categories. An avid follower of marketing trends, Neil is also a natural born gamer, waiting impatiently for the next big release.

Providing effective marketing communications solutions for clients operating in and from Malta, we‘ve always had an international outlook.

Indeed, with our unique European/Mediterranean background, we have grown to understand, and work well within, different cultural contexts. We also have experience with various public relations, visibility and digital projects in Cyprus, North Africa and the Middle East.

Additionally, through our Arabicomm joint venture operation we are able to handle projects in Arabic.

Where we’ve come from

With considerable vision and foresight about the way business and marketing needs would develop, Joseph ‘JB’ Brockdorff saw the need for communications services in Malta and also realized that such services were also needed in nearby markets.

That was way back in 1958 – forget about digital media, television services had not even started in Malta back then. JB’s capital consisted of a typewriter, his sound business acumen and an unwavering belief that the only way to build a reputation was to earn it by being fair, professional and forward-looking.

Maltese clients liked BPC’s approach, and international clients did too; the rest is pretty much history.

We are looking for an Assistant to support our client handling teams, either on a full time or a reduced hour basis [30 hrs/weekly].
